About Hector

Does anyone like fuzzy cute? How about cute fuzzies? Well, if you do like the cutsie pups with the wuzzy rough coats, you will adore this little guy! Hector is about a year old and 13 pounds of pure sweetness. He came to Raintree from a Florida shelter where he was so scared. Hector loves attention and to jump and run and play. He is still very puppyish and is so eager to learn and please and just be ADHD at times lol. He can be a bit shy and timid of new people but really settles in with them very quickly. He gets along with most dogs if introduced properly, but he can be defensive if another male dog will come up to him posturing or exercising dominance. I think it is more fear than aggression and could learn to cohabitate well. Hector has been neutered and is current on all his vaccines es. He is also heartworm negative and on prevention. He walks well on a leash and really gets attached quickly. We have no small children around Raintree so don't know how he would be with small ones, but I think older children would be fine. This little guy can run like the wind and is young so an active family or someone with a fenced backyard would be ideal for Hector. He is such a joyful little fluff!
