Rocky is an incredibly sweet #SeniorDog that is tragically another example why 'after life' plans for your pets need to be sorted out before your passing & (more importantly) mutually agreed upon in writing ٪%81 Rocky was surrendered to the shelter Saturday 4/5/25 following the passing of his owner & no spouse or immediate family interested in continuing his care. Meeting Rocky only his frosted white coat would give you the impression he is in his senior years, although Rocky had no idea what events were leading his existing family to surrender him to the shelter he was in the happiest of moods eager to meet all the new faces surrounding him in the lobby. While the luster of new friendly faces was short lived once he was placed into a kennel and discovered the reality of being alone, one can only hope a caring rescue or individual steps forward to prove to Rocky age is just a number and people still care about him.
