She will chatter her teeth with contentment. She loves doing binkies and the bunny 500 laps. She likes to be petted and will be happy on your lap. Convincing her she needs to be still long enough for you to pick her up and put her on your lap can be fun! But ultimately, she truly enjoys it! Mostly she is relieved to be rescued and I can see the appreciation in her eyes! Trixie was rescued on March 2, 2025 from a park in Los Angeles where she was dumped with a dozen other rabbits where she managed to survive for several months. She was spayed on April 7, 2025. She currently weighs about 3-1/2 pounds. Her estimated date of birth is May 2024. Trixie should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Trixie can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.�%A0 PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit!
