Mia is 3 years old. and looks like a BC but is mostly Cattle dog per her DNA. Mia is a smart gal. She is really solid on sit and down. She is decent at stay. She is crate trained and goes right in when asked. She is really good about not rushing the door and she does not jump on people. Mia tends to prefer women and would like a home without a man or with a gentle, calm guy who gives her time to warm up. Mia also prefers a relaxed introduction to new people so she can have time to warm up. Mia has a funny way of snapping her teeth when excited, which likely scares a kid. So no kids in her new home. She prefers a quieter, calm home. Mia is nice with other polite dogs. She has enjoyed playing with dogs around her size. She prefers to be the only dog in the home, though, so she doesn't have to share her people. She hasn't been around cats but is good living with a parrot. Mia rides nicely in the car. She is nice in leash and prefers a quiet or rural neighborhood. Mia loves to chase the ball and brings it most of the way back. If you ignore it she'll pick it up and try and carry it closer. Mia is house trained, and also takes Proin for incontinence. This is not expensive and it keeps her incontinence in check. Mia is smart, loyal, and has that certain special quality that's hard to out a finger on. She isn't super affectionate, but she has a way of becoming part of her personality's heart and will be a special pal for someone who has a quieter life and a warm heart. Mia is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt. She is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt in SoCal.
