About Stacks

This dog was reportedly abandoned in an empty house. I went to the property to provide food and water for him, as I was informed he had none. While I was getting the dog into my car, I encountered the owner's son, who explained that the dog belonged to his father. The mother had kicked them all out and sold the house, leaving the father (the owner) homeless and missing. The son is currently staying at a friend's house that doesn't allow dogs. He mentioned that he can barely afford to feed himself, let alone the dog, which is why the dog's ribs are visible. When I arrived, there was no food or water available. The realtor allowed the dog to stay a few more days until the new owners moved in, but after that, they had no choice but to release him onto the streets. I urgently need to find a foster, rescue, or adopter for him since I already have 9 dogs of my own, a few of which are reactive. About Stacks: He's a 6-year-old, intact, full-blooded bully with papers. Fully trained, knows commands, and walks well on a leash without pulling, chasing, or barking at people or other animals. Good with kids and other animals (with a slow introduction). Trained as a security dog. Up to date on most vaccinations but needs his rabies booster. He has some hotspots around his tail due to occasional chewing. The son is looking for the dog's paperwork and will inform me if he finds it.
