About FINN

please submit adoption form at www.socalweimrescue.org/pages/adopt Finn is a beautiful 4 year old Blue Weimaraner coming to us from a family who found their lifestyle leaves him alone and lonely much of the time. They are trying to do the right thing and rehome him with a family who is a bit more active and can pay much more attention to him. He has been spending way too much daytime crated.....but hey that means he is crate trained! Finn is crate trained, house trained and getting neutered this Saturday. He is a happy friendly boy who just wants to be loved and cuddled. He has been run off leash his whole life with good recall so he may pull a bit with a leash. He is reliably housetrained. Finns favorite stuffed animals and tennis balls. He will gain your attention by dropping his ball directly into your lap or leaning lovingly into your body for comfort. He shows his fatherhood by nooking with his baby toy. You will be delighted with his personality. An added bonus is that while the owner traveled Finn spent time in a pricey Bird Dog Training facility. He did well and may have retained most of it but will need refresher if you plan to hunt him. He has lived with small dogs and would do well with a little buddy or children taller than knee high. He does love to chase bunnies and squirrels. He can be left alone in the home uncrated as long as counters are clear and garbage not reachable. Finn is available to meet in the San Marcos Escondido area after his neuter on Saturday.
