About Kovu

Welcome, Kovu! Join us in giving a warm welcome to Kovu, the newest pup on his journey to a fresh start! This handsome boy had a rough time after being surrendered-completely shut down and not feeling his best. But thanks to the love and care of the shelter staff and volunteers, he found comfort during his short stay before making his way to us. Huge thanks to our volunteer Kathleen and our board member Jenn for getting him to Garden State Hospital. A huge shout out to our founder Donna for providing him a temporary safe space while we find him something more permanent. Kovu's vet visit today was an unexpected expense of $724, but that's what we do to make sure these dogs get the care they need. He needed fluids, bloodwork and now special ID food.
