Churro A738450 9 Month Old Male German Shepherd Mix URGENT Needs Rescue By 03/29/2025 Churro is an approximately 9 month old male German Shepherd mix that was picked up by Animal Control Officers on evening of 30/22/2025 after reports of a dog appearing malnourished being struck by a vehicle. Although Churro did not receive any severe wounds he did suffer a tail fracture. During examination at an off-site overnight/urgent care center hard swallowing with regurgitation was observed, as well as fluid-filled esophagus & stomach with esophageal dilation. Further examination confirmed Churro also suffers from megaesophagus and gastritis, due to the amount of care Churro requires and limited resources at shelter Churro needs rescue by end of day Saturday March 29th 2025.
