About Ferdinand

Meet Ferdinand! This sweet 1-year-old boy may be only 30 pounds, but he has a heart full of love! With a friendly and submissive personality, Ferdinand is a cuddle enthusiast who adores being close to his people. He also appears to be good around other dogs, making him a wonderful companion, especially with his buddy Evangeline. Ferdinand is still working on his confidence, so he can sometimes crawl on a leash and be avoidant of crossing thresholds. However, he allows carrying easily and loves snuggling in for belly rubs and cuddles every chance he gets. He was initially nervous about his bath but quickly settled in and was perfect. Like all dogs at Citrus County Animal Services, Ferdinand will be neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated before adoption. Come meet this little lovebug and let him steal your heart!
