NEEDS A FUREVER HOME ASAP! [Case opened on 3/21/25]. CINCINNATI, OHIO (will drive up to 100 miles) . 2 Y/O MALE GSD (DOB:12/1/22). His name is ' COOPER'. Background: has been with the same Shepherd parent since weaned. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. NOT Good with dogs. NOT Good with cats. House trained (may sometimes have an occasional accident). Crate trained. No known medical issues. HIGH ENERGY . HIGH PREY DRIVE . Currently on ' Iams Healthy Digestion' food. Weighs 90 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: chew toys - squeaky toys - being with his person - kids - being rubbed - playing Fetch with rope toys - playing tug - Outside Time - playing with his person for as long as his person wants- sleeping in bed with his person. Personality: Anxious. Sweetheart to his people. Cooper is a great boy. He is still in the GSD pup phase. He is velcro and needs to be near his person at all times. He is very intelligent and knows Basic Commands. He is the typical GSD and protective of kids and his people. He gets along great with the neighbors dogs but those are the only dogs that he likes. He has tried to go after and attack other dogs in the neighborhood. Small dogs set him off. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Cooper because they both work full-time jobs and do not have the time to work with him and are terrified that he's going to get ahold of another dog, or get killed crossing the street when he gets out. Cooper will be an amazing companion for the right person. Cooper will thrive best in a loving home, preferably WITH kids and NO dogs and NO cats. Someone who is home a lot to be able to work with Cooper to be the best boy that he can be. Someone who can handle Cooper's strength and contain any situation that may occur when he sees other dogs. Once Cooper is allowed plenty of time to adjust, he will be the best companion ever for your family. Comes with: collar, leash, crate, bowls.
