About Sol

Adoption Fee: $600
Rottweiler
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Sol, the dashing male Rottweiler who's almost 3 years old born 6/19/2022 and ready to steal your heart (and maybe a nibble of your finger if you're not careful!). With a head as big as his personality, he's got all the charm and good looks that'll make you swoon. Now, let's talk about his little quirkSol has a playful nipping habit that comes out when he's super excited to meet new friends. Think of it as his signature greetinglike a puppy high-five! However, while it might be fun for adults, it could be a bit too much for kiddos, especially when their friends come over. So, if you have tiny humans running around, Sol might not be the best fit for your family. But fear not! He's a work in progress, and with a bit of training (and perhaps a magic e-collar that vibrates like a gentle reminder), he's more than capable of trading in those nips for some good ol' fashioned tail wags. Sweet as pie otherwise, this boy is just bursting with love! Sol has lived with a female Rottweiler and cas before and did fine with them. Sol came to us with Luna, who recently became a proud mom to his seven adorable sons (talk about a family reunion!). While they get along fabulously, Sol is perfectly fine flying solo if you're just looking to adopt one. He's also potty trained and ready to impressso if you're in the market for a handsome companion with a bit of a playful edge, that needs a bit of time invested in his training to really help you bond, Sol might just be your guy! Sol is Akc registered however I have not received his papers from his previous owner. I do have the breeders infomation and if you really want his papers then I'm sure you can track them down pretty easily. Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption. please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
