ONLY 15 DAYS LEFT BEFORE WOMAN MOVES AND WILL BE DUMPED AT KILL SHELTER KEPT IN A CRATE AND NEGLECTED FOR YEARS, NOW ON THE WAY TO A SHELTER TO BE KILLED -WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE HERE -PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD FOR HONEY -SHE NEEDS A HOME . I've been made aware of a heartbreaking situation by a Facebook friend. Once again, a human acting out of ignorance and now the more I learn, she might have thought she was helping them, kept 6 dogs in crates for years, some since they were puppies, never exercising them or taking them to the vet or giving them any real quality of life. Now she is moving and they need a place to go. That's why we're hearing about them at all. So now late in their lives, they have an opportunity for knowing a little joy, a little love, a little freedom but it's up to us to help them. Please no negative comments. I'm so upset about this that I can go on all day but it won't help these babies and that's what this call is about. THEY NEED US! I will post all 6 separately and am working to get more info and better pictures. Please spread the word for each of them. They need a place to go or they will go to a shelter and their lives will quickly end in a plastic bag. This is Honey. Honey is a 90 lbs, 2 year old bloodhound. She has wobbler's disease. Wobblers syndrome is a neurological disease that affects a dog's neck and spine. It's caused by compression of the spinal cord, which can lead to a wobbly gait. Honey has mostly good days but she does have some bad days where she struggles to walk. She would need a home where she had limited activity and a person who would be willing to care for her. The person she is now with had her her since she was 6 weeks old. She took Honey because the Breeder who had her as a puppy was going to euthanize her because of the Wobblers disease.
