About Blanche

Meet Blanche, a sweet and gentle senior Yorkie mix who's looking for her forever home. Blanche is a timid little lady with a big heart, eager to find someone who will give her the love and patience she deserves. Despite her quiet nature, she is slowly but surely learning to trust and thrive in her new surroundings. Blanche was rescued from a tough situation, and while she may still tremble in unfamiliar environments, she is learning that the world can be a much kinder place. Blanche is a very calm and gentle soul, who enjoys snuggling in cozy dog beds, chewing on toys, and hanging out with her doggy siblings. She's house-trained on pee pads and would thrive in a home where she can gradually learn to go outside. A secure yard would be ideal to help her build confidence, especially with the support of a friendly, confident dog. Blanche gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, and while she's still learning to trust humans, she's a food-motivated little lady who is ready to bond with someone who will take it slow with her. Her long coat is a soft, beautiful feature, though she is missing about half of her teeth and will need soft food to keep her nourished. Blanche is up-to-date on her vaccines and will soon be spayed and receive a dental treatment. With the right person or family, Blanche will become the perfect lapdog, and she's sure to fill your home with love once she has the time to adjust and feel safe.
