About Rudy

This classic blue guy is Rudy. He is an Australian Cattle Dog mix who was born in January 2024 and weighs about 35 pounds. Rudy knows a lot already : Sit, stay, lay, and heel. He is house and crate trained. Rudy is a loyal guy who adores his people and takes a moment to warm up to new people because he is a bit unsure. He is a nice guy, just wants a polite introduction. As for the mailman, he will bark to tell you that he is dropping off the mail. Rudy isn't a fit for busy homes or small kids because he can be typical Cattle Dog nippy when excited and chasing. Rudy is nice with other dogs after a polite introduction. He would be happy living in a home with a chill and confident dog, or as an only dog. He definitely isn't a dog park kind of guy'|too much going on. He is more of a hiking and quieter dog beach sort. Rudy is good on leash and in the car. He would be a good adventure pal. He also likes to play fetch. Rudy is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He has a neuter appointment and will be neutered before he goes to his new home. Rudy is located in Thousand Oaks, CA, and ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
