About Gracie

Gracie is available for adoption in Orange County ONLY. Adorable little Gracie is an 8lbs, 2 year old maltipoo who ended up in the Riverside Shelter. She was matted and in horrible shape. We have been working to get her healthy and ready for a furever home! When Gracie arrived to us, she was terrified and didn't want anything to do with people. After a few short days, she was wagging her tail at her foster mom and wanting to be held! She now sleeps in the bed with her foster mom and is doing so well. Despite her amazing progress, Gracie is still pretty scared, so we are recommending her to calm homes without kids. She does ok with other dogs as long as they are mellow and not super barky. She does seem to prefer women to men. Gracie will need a patient home that won't push her too hard too fast and can work with her on training, including basic commands, crate, and potty training. She is food motivated and potty trained in her foster home (but will likely need a refresher course in a new home)!
