About Virginia

Virginia is playful gal and has lots of love to give. Virginia loves kisses and belly rubs. She's 2 years old. (Born February 2023) She is a big gal, she is very sweet but lacks a bit of confidence. She is timid and unsure of strangers upon first greeting but warms quickly. She can become overwhelmed by lots of hustle and bustle but once she's sure of her surroundings she settles in and becomes comfortable. *We've learned from Virginia's original owner that Virginia (formerly Lily) had some 'board and train' as a puppy where learned recall through a vibrating e-collar and her leash walking training was done with a head collar - a Halti or a Gentle Leader, this curbed her pulling. Virginia was raised with 2 other dogs and some cats. The kitties eventually become afraid of Virginia's enthusiasm and size. Virginia does like to splash around in the water. We were informed that she had food aggression with her housemate dogs and they were always fed and received treats separately. *Virginia is deaf.
