About Carter

please note we have not tested him with kids. Attributes: Affectionate with familiar people, good on leash, good with dogs, shy meeting new people. Carter is a big, gentle soul with maybe a touch of Collie in him-though that's just our best guess! This sweet, shy guy is still learning that the world isn't so scary, and with a little patience and love, his confidence grows every day. He walks well on a leash but can get startled by new sights and sounds, so he'll need a kind and understanding person to help him feel safe. The more he trusts you, the braver he becomes! Carter takes treats gently and has gotten along well with the dogs he's met while with us. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little reassurance to shine, Carter could be the perfect match for you. Come meet him and give him the love he deserves!
