Darling little Jett is 7 mo old and weighs only 33lbs. We expect him to be no more than 40lbs when he's full grown. Jett is a very timid boy when he first meets, and it takes him the afternoon before he really starts to open up to become the silly, playful boy that he really is. When he's near another well balanced, confident dog he'll quickly become more trusting. To help build his confidence, he must have another dog in the home. He loves dogs of all size and will play chase and tug of war with any dog that is willing. He's also great with the kitties. He is very food motivated so with treats, he's eager to learn basic command and manners. He is exceptionally smart and learns quickly. Leash training is still scary for him so currently it's best if he goes on a walk with a confident friendly playmate. Even though he's a scared boy, he is very sweet tempered and would be a great addition to a home with school age kids. Because he is still very much a puppy, he should have plenty of chew toys and he should be crated if left alone. He's doing wonderful with his crate and house training as long as he has potty breaks every few hours. A doggy door would be great! Jett must have a five foot or higher securely fenced yard.
