About Donovan

Darling Donovan is now about 6mo old and he's ready for his own, forever home. He is only 24lbs and should be about 30-35lbs when he's full grown. According to dna, he is a Boxer, Pomeranian (although not fluffy), Cattle Dog, mixed with a few other breeds. We think the Pom is what keeps him so small. Donovan is a little shy when first meeting, but he opens up quickly to become an affectionate, social boy. He has such a gentle temperament, he would be a great addition to a home with school age children. He loves to spend his day playing with his siblings and other foster dogs, and because he's a shy boy and gains confidence with other well balanced dogs, another dog in the home is required. He is wonderful with the kitties, too. Donovan still needs leash and basic training but he is very smart and learns quickly, especially when treats are involved! He also needs a little more help before he is fully house trained. He must have a securely fenced yard and because of his young age, he should not be left alone for more than 4-5hr intervals.
