BUCKIE is a 20 month old, 10 pound Yorkie mix pup surrendered to us after being found as a stray. He was skinny and scared but quickly adapted to his foster home. BUCKIE is super sweet and kissy! He loves snuggles with his person almost as much as he loves to play with them! He loves affection and will squirm his way onto your lap every chance he gets. His tail does not stop either! He's a friendly, happy boy and is very much a puppy with puppy energy and a silly, sassy attitude. BUCKIE likes other dogs and loves to play with them. He enjoys the company of other dogs and can be bossy if a dog will let him. We believe his best home will be with another small playful dog. He enjoys toys and will entertain himself with a chew toy, but he doesn't always know what he should or should not chew on! He has been good with the neighborhood cats that he has encountered and while he is generally good with the kids he's met, he would be best with older ones. BUCKIE needs a home with a fenced yard. He has too much energy for walks alone. He needs work on potty training and a yard will help with that too. He's not a fan of pottying while on leash, but does walk well with a harness and leash. At night BUCKIE sleeps cuddled close to his foster family. He won't be happy anywhere else! BUCKIE has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
