About Oakley

Oakley is a 3 year old Blue-Tick/Walker Hound. We got her from a private breeder when she was born. She has been the best addition to our family, but we do not have enough room for her, unfortunately. Oakley is a very sweet and patient dog. She is GREAT with kids, as well as with other dogs. She has been raised in a single-dog home, but has been around many other dogs. She is potty and kennel trained. She is not aggressive with food. When given food or treats, she waits for the 'okay' before eating. She loves being outside and gets very excited when we go camping. While camping, she stays at the campsite and comes quickly when her name is called. She has been on a couple of racoon hunts with other hounds and did phenomenal. Her 'tricks' include: shaking, speaking, sitting, laying down, and catching treats. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
