We have a Dutch Shepherd (rare shepherd breed) in our neighborhood that was dumped last year. She ran up and down the road looking for her owners that dumped her. One of our neighbors worked hard to adopt her but she will not stay in their back yard and roams. She needs an inside home with a family, or she could definitely be a therapy/emotional support dog. She was fearful at first with our neighbor but trusts her and was good with her 4 year-old granddaughter and walked well on a leash. She is very smart, doesn't bark and does not mind other dogs, but she is fearful and needs someone to love and work with her. If you like shepherds and understand their need to be connected to their humans let me know. We have a sponsor for shots and vet visit.
