About Teddy

' Meet one of the newest - and sweetest - guys in town. Teddy has arrived after spending far too long isolated in a shelter in Georgia. He didn't let it bring him down though, he's just happy to be here now, and ready to find the perfect family to live out his golden years with! Teddy is 10 years old, 35 lbs, part Bassett hound, part Sharpei, and 100% meatball, with plenty of personality and spunk left in him! Shy, and a tad nervous at first, he quickly warms up and just wants to find the coziest place near his humans to curl up and take a nap. We think he's earned it. Teddy is house trained, enjoys being in his crate with a soft blanket, rides well in the car, and is dog & kid friendly. He was also unbothered by the kitty in his foster home. He was treated for heart worm down south, but bed rest was a breeze - he kinda prefers that anyway (who can relate?). While his younger foster sisters may run circles around him, he sure likes to follow them around, exploring and smelling all the smells in his new yard. Did we mention he likes naps? New Oxford PA 17350; LIC #9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
