About Alabama

Meet Alabama, A 7-year-old boy weighing 56 lbs. He's a mixed breed with a calm and well-mannered personality. He's a big softie and loves to give kisses. He takes treats like a gentleman. Alabama gets along great with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the cats in the foster house. He's a great companion for kids of all ages. He's house-trained. He hesitates to go in a crate, but he will go in after some coaxing and stay there without any accidents or barking/whining overnight. He'd rather be out with his people, though! He was treated for heartworm and has recovered. He is chipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Come meet this lovable pup in Grantville, PA. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.
