About Fay PENDING ADOPTION

Pending Adoption. Taking backup applications only! Submit an adoption questionnaire at www.socalweimrescue.org/pages/adopt Fay Fay and Thor have a super sad story to tell. They lived their life since babies on a 7 acre property with a nice older gentleman. They had the run of the place and loved to go out and play together. We got an urgent request to come get the two because the man had developed terminal cancer and is now in Hospice with a very short time to live. The family wanted what was best for Fay and Thor so decided it best to rehome them. Through no fault of their own they're now with us looking for new forever homes. Fay Fay is beautiful. She has a docked tail and is housebroken. She doesn't know much about toys but does enjoy a game of ball or frisbee. She loves to run and will need a little bit of structure. Both dogs were kept outside running most of the day and went in at night to spend time with their 'dad'. We haven't had them long enough to do much evaluation but so far Fay seems just a little aloof in her new environment. She seems to depend a little on Thor but we are working on them being more apart and around other dogs more for socialization. Being young and impressive Fay will do great. We will update as we learn more about her. She is currently fostered in North LA County in the Lancaster/Neenach area.
