About Arya

Hi, I'm Arya! I'm a 4-year-old purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd (soon to be 5), weighing 24 pounds and living in Hampton Roads, Virginia. With my beautiful tri-coat and striking blue eyes, I may be small in size, but I'm full of love and personality! I enjoy fun activities like playing catch, puzzles, lick mats, going on nature walks and hikes, trick training, agility, and I'm even learning lure chasing. Due to unexpected changes in my family, I'm now searching for a calm, adult-only home. My family recently needed to bring young children into our home, and I'm a bit nervous around them. I'm looking for an experienced, patient, and loving owner who can help me feel secure and thrive. I get along well with my current dog buddy (we've been together since I was a pup), but I'm nervous around unfamiliar dogs. I've made great progress in my training! I'm crate-trained, potty-trained, and know both basic commands and fun tricks. I'd love a peaceful home with a securely fenced yard, where I can get plenty of one-on-one attention. Once we build trust, I'll be your loyal, affectionate companion and ready for lots of fun! I'm up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and in excellent health.
