About Maddy

Maddy is a beautiful 2-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She's affectionate, social, and always ready to make new friends and find her forever home! Maddy was recently returned to us due to her strong herding instincts getting the best of her-she just couldn't resist chasing (and, unfortunately, catching) a few too many chickens. Because of this, we believe she would be best suited to a home without livestock. However, outside of that quirk, Maddy is an absolute gem! She's affectionate, gentle, and thrives on companionship. She's used to being around other dogs and would likely do well with a canine sibling, especially one who can match her energy and playfulness. As a typical Aussie, Maddy is smart, active, and eager to please. She would flourish in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of love. Whether it's going on hikes, playing fetch, or snuggling up for belly rubs, Maddy is ready to be the perfect companion.
