About Jake

This sweet boy was found about 1 month ago now. After being found, his owner relinquished ownership due to hardship. My neighbor and I have been sharing caretaking. Since we have fostered him for a while, we know a lot about his personality. He loves people, children and other dogs. We have not tested him with cats. He is playful, but tentative. He is quiet in the house and not pushy. He hates being left alone in the crate, but is excellent in the crate at night and during feeding times. He loves to run but would need a fenced yard as he will just keep on running, and he is fast. He is not aggressive and has not had any accidents in the house. He is neutered and has received all his shots. We feel his best fit would be with a fenced yard and another dog, unless it is a home where the people are home the majority of the time.
