About Ruby

Meet Ruby! She is a sweet, playful and smart 1 year old German Shepherd mix. She loves humans and after only a few days in her foster home, has already learned some basic commands, like 'sit' and 'down.' Ruby is potty and crate trained, and loves to cuddle up next to you on the sofa. As she is a young dog, she has a lot of energy and absolutely LOVES to play with other dogs. She would play all day, if she could! She gets along really well with dogs her size and bigger, and recently made a new puppy friend. Ruby is still learning her leash manners, as she can easily get distracted on walks, but after just one training session, she is responding to her redirection well. Affectionate, independent, and energetic, Ruby would thrive in a home where she would have another canine playmate.
