Sweet Tinsel is a shy girl who takes time to warm up to new people. Tinsel is a bit timid and will bark at new people, however if you get down on her level and offer her a treat she will be your best friend. She does fine with the cats in the house. She is curious about them but leaves them alone. Tinsel likes to snuggle in the evenings or when the weather is cold. She will curl up on your lap and relax. She has the most amazing ears and loves when you give them a good scratch. She loves her toys and bones too. Tinsel has experience with kids between the ages of 5 and 9 as she enjoys the company of her foster girl. Tinsel is still working on potty training. She is doing well on a schedule, however she still has accidents in her kennel. Tinsel is treat motivated and will kennel at the sound of the treat can. She kennels nicely and sleeps through the night. She loves to romp and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has experience with both big and small dogs and does fine. Tinsel is learning to walk on a leash and ride in a car (she rides nicely, as she just lays down). Tinsel is working on learning basic commands such as sit and come. Because Tinsel is easily scared, she would love to have a fenced in yard to run and play in. Tinsel would do great in any home that would provide her with the love and attention she deserves. Tinsel would also benefit from ongoing training so that she could be the best dog possible.
