About Baloo

Baloo is a happy, easy-going boy. He loves to snuggle on the couch or on your lap. He loves attention and isn't afraid to ask for it. He is sweet and affectionate and gets along well with other dogs. He has small bursts of energy but is happy to also just be napping on the couch. He is still shy on occasion but overall is a sweet, loving dog. Baloo will play with toys and likes to chew on a bone on occasions. Baloo has learned to use a dog door and is house broken with dog door availability. He does fine when left alone. His foster family has never had him be destructive or chew something that he shouldn't. We have not had the opportunity to observe him with children but given his energy level and disposition, his foster family doesn't believe that he would be a problem around children. He has been fine with other dogs. There are hens in his foster home that are contained in their own area in the back yard, and he hasn't bothered them. He can get stressed in the car and could use some more exposure to being in the car to help him get over his anxiety in the car. Baloo came from a hoarding situation but is doing well in spite of that. He is a mixed breed, neutered boy who weighs between 10 and 15 lbs who we are guessing is around 4-6 years old but it is really hard to guestimate. Like all available NSDR dogs he is up to date on vaccinations and deworming and has a microchip. He is neutered.
