About Layla

Layla's owner recently went into hospice care and Layla is very sad without him. She is reported to be 3 years old, a Heeler, Shepherd, Pit mix. Spayed and current on vaccinations. Very sweet girl, loves people and couches. She is very playful and loves her walks. Would make a great family pet or travel companion. Layla has been in a foster home for a bit now. Here are a few notes from her 'foster momma'. 'Layla loves to lay on the couch and stare out of the windows. Loves to fetch and chew on her kong toy. Good sleeper, did well in the car on our adventure to get a pup cup. Good eater, likes apples, peanut butter, yogurt and cheese. Will fall asleep in the sunshine, in any awkward position. She does bark if another dog walks past, but otherwise she is so quiet that I nearly forgot she was here. Good about letting me know when she needs to go out. Very sweet and gentle, but not clingy. Didn't chew anything in my home. Loved having her and giving her a nice quiet break. She is a wonderful house pup, responds well to commands like sit, leave it, and come inside.' *Layla should be the only pet in the home*
