Hi There My name is Leia and I am a gorgeous 2 year old little daschund girl. I am super quiet, and a little shy at first, but once I see you are awesome, I am all yours. Foster mom says I am super sweet and refined, as she calls me her 'chill girl' - yeah I am kinda like an old soul. I enjoy hanging out in the yard, laying on the grass and catching some rays. I also enjoy spending time with people, and foster fur brother Rusty. Yes I AM good with other dogs. I love to lay on the back of the couch while you are watching your shows, and yes I enjoy a chick flick too! LOL A baseball game, sure, as long as you share your snacks with me. Hey - one for all and all for one! I am crate trained, and learning how to walk on a leash. But who needs a leash, when I have a huge backyard to run around in. I would do best in a home with someone who works from home or is retired and needs a buddy! Yes a yard would be perfect. I would not mind having a fur brother or sister pup or kitty, so no worries if you have one. Kids - well I would prefer 12 or older, as I am small, and don't want little kids pulling my tail please. I am looking for that special person or family who can give me the time to adjust to a new environment, feel secure and flourish just like I am in my foster home. Can you provide me unconditional love and patience so I can continue growing, learning, and being your perfect best friend?
