About Joy

Meet Joy! She's an active, young, spayed, female 1/2 German Shepherd Dog. Her favorite past times include playing fetch and tug. She's potty- and crate-trained and has been living in a home environment since she was rescued as a puppy. She was originally trained to be a service dog, but her high energy didn't match well with the disabled person's lifestyle. She would do well as a working or sport dog-search and rescue, detection, agility, nose work, barn hunt, fast cat, etc. She enjoys people but can be jumpy with them when first greeting them. She loves to play with other high energy dogs. She's UTD on all shots and on flea, tick and heartworm preventative.
