About Clifford von Breese

Clifford von Breese is an adorable, 1-2 year-old Jack Russell (?) mix who is very loving and sweet with his foster family. Clifford's prior life on the streets of LA came with its challenges -- where he did his best to love and protect the homeless woman who eventually relinquished him because she could no longer care for him - but his life took an extraordinary boost when he came to Westside. This spirited boy savors his playtime in the yard with his foster fur siblings as much as he does long walks in the neighborhood. He has been working on his leash manners and is doing better. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night, is housebroken and otherwise very trustworthy. Visitors to the home can be initially intimidating for him, but his energy can easily be redirected to some yummy treats or fun toys while he gains comfort around new people. Because of his background experiences, there will be an adjustment period for his forever family that will include patience and slow introductions; his ideal home would be on the quieter side without young children and without frequent visitors. Clifford can't wait to meet you and to begin the newest chapter of his life; your efforts will be richly rewarded as you witness all the love that he has to give you in return.
