About Yogi

Ziva Dog Rescue wrote this post up about me and I think it's great. Here is what they said about me (I am a funny little guy with a little bit of a 'tude until I get used to my surroundings): Update on me! I am the model of a dog that needs decompression. After about 3 weeks in my foster home, I have turned over a new leaf! I am affectionate and now I trust my people. No - I still don't love the big dogs in my house but I deal. My favorite place is in a lap... that won't change. It took me just a bit to realize how good I have it. This is Yogi. Yogi looks like your favorite stuffed animal. He is 10 lbs and about 8.5 years old. Yogi is a man that needs to do things on his own terms. This is what we mean: He is housebroken (to some people); he loves his crate (but he requires a nice bed to go in it, a blanket will not do); he lives with big dogs (but has no need for them in his life and actually doesn't like them but is too small to make a mark); he loves food (but he loves human food more; steak preferred); his favorite place (he thinks) is on his humans lap (but don't get TOO comfortable because he may decide he is done with you sooner than you would like); he is low energy and chills most of the day (but don't let him fool you.. .he's always watching); he lets HIS home know that 'intruders' are at bay (because he owns his home now) . Yogi requires an adult only home; he is devastatingly cute, but no kids please (he is not a good fit with unpredictability). I am in a foster home in CT!
