About Gracie

Gracie is available for adoption in Orange County ONLY. Adorable little Gracie is an 8lbs, 2 year old maltipoo who ended up in the Riverside Shelter. She was matted and in horrible shape. We have been working to get her healthy and ready for a furever home! This sweetheart is currently recovering from kennel cough and will be getting spayed once she's recovered. When Gracie arrived to us, she was terrified and didn't want anything to do with people. After a few short days, she was wagging her tail at her foster mom and wanting to be held! She now sleeps in the bed with her foster mom and is doing so well. Despite her amazing progress, Gracie is still pretty scared, so we are recommending her to calm homes without kids. She does ok with other dogs as long as they are mellow and not super barky. She does seem to prefer men to women. Gracie will need a patient home that won't push her too hard too fast and can work with her on training, including basic commands, crate, and potty training. She is food motivated! She would also do best in a home with people who are around most of the time because now that she knows she likes people, she doesn't like to be without them!
