Meet Luna - A Diamond in the Rough! Luna is a one-year-old Lab x Poodle mix who has had a tough start in life. Abandoned by her original owner, a kind relative did their best to care for her, but Luna needed more than they could provide. Now, she's looking for a fresh start with someone who can give her the love, care, and patience she deserves. Luna is in DESPERATE need of a grooming appointment and some much-needed TLC. Her coat is heavily matted, but underneath it all is the sweetest girl with a heart full of love. She has always been an outdoor dog, meaning she's not house-trained and will need a patient adopter willing to teach her the ropes of indoor living. She gets along well with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and does okay in the car-she just hasn't had much exposure to new experiences. One of the reasons she's here is because she was reported to have a lot of energy, but at the shelter, she's been too scared to show that side of herself. What we do know is that she has a gentle, loving disposition and is ready to blossom in the right home. Luna needs someone willing to invest in her, to help her gain confidence, and to show her what it truly means to be a cherished family member. Could that be you?
