Meet Butternut! This sweet, medium-sized boy is full of charm and curiosity. With his adorable, full-sized ears that stand up when he's alert, he's hard to miss. Butternut enjoys being petted and loved on, though he's also content to entertain himself with all the new sounds and toys around him - he might not play with them, but he's certainly interested in checking them out! He may greet you with a few excited barks through his kennel, but don't worry, he's just showing how thrilled he is to see you (he doesn't mean to sound rude!). Butternut is easy to leash up, walks well, and is generally pretty easy to manage. He absolutely loves treats and takes them gently from your hand, always showing his sweet nature. He may not have mastered any tricks just yet, but with his low to medium energy level, he's the perfect companion for someone looking for a chill, affectionate dog who's up for adventures at your pace.
