About Dahlia

Adoption Fee: $200
Pit Bull / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Dahlia is about 1 yo., 65 lbs. She's initially fearful of new people but warms up very quickly if you give her the space she needs. She is the sweetest girl once she trusts you and loves to hang out close to you and get pets. She enjoys the company of other friendly dogs and would benefit from another canine in the home. Dahlia is super duper awesome on leash...anyone can walk this girl. She is potty and crate trained, loves food and good scratches. Teaching her basic commands and 'place' has really helped bring her out of her shell. She's a pretty calm dog with occasional zoomies. We're sure she'll get a bit more active once she feels safe and comfortable in a home but she's a pretty low key dog. She'll be fine with a few walks a day and the occasional adventure. She loves her benebones, a nice soft blanket, and familiar company. Since she is initially unsure of people we recommend no small children but respectful teenagers. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under 'stories' and 'highlights'. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.
