This sweet girl was asked to be removed from a home where she was a victim of littermate syndrome (as seen in the photo on her face. Also had a hole in her jowl). I volunteered to help, but I cannot keep her. When I picked her up, she had zero command structure, didn't even know her name, under weight/malnourished and (holy cow) scared of everything. Since I've had her.. She knows her name, some basic command structure (come, sit, down, see me, drop it, bed/crate trained now, etc), socialized with stable dogs/PLAYS HARD!, up to a decent weight/good eater/grazes happily! She has calmed down and happy and playful, loves attention and not scared anymore. She is showing her truest-self. And she absolutely has a goofy side. Sadly I cannot keep her and tried not to imprint on her TOO much, but enough to get her through all of this trauma in her young life. She needs a good home, stable and time to put into her for love, attention and formal training. She's a sponge when she learns something. Because she was kept and left outside prior to me getting her, she chases cats/may have been encouraged to do so. Loves people, loves trips (not to the vet of course), and enjoys play with other playful dogs. I've tried a few different methods to rehome, but no one has contacted me for rehome/adoption. She is a sweet dog that just wants and loves attention. Help me and help her with her forever home!
