About Delta

Delta is a very sweet 1 year old girl who had a family at one time but they couldn't keep her and asked Long Road Home to find her a great home because that's what she deserves. She's very beautiful and fully grown at 30 pounds which is such a great compact size. We think she's a Border Collie mix with her wavy coat and may have a bit of terrier too which would account for her pointed ears. Regardless of her breed, she's a very sweet girl and friendly with adults and children and loves to play with other dogs. She likes cats too! She's smart, loves car rides and belly rubs. She has a medium energy level and is not a 'herder' like some Border Collies can be. She'll make a great family dog and will be happy as a solo pup or with a doggie sibling.
