About Pearl

Pearl is a loving, energetic 11-month-old female Australian Cattle Dog looking for a new home. She bonded with us instantly as soon as we got her, but due to our age and health conditions we are unable to provide her with the active lifestyle she needs. Weighing in at 28 pounds, she is a compact and athletic pup. She is spayed, housebroken, clicker-trained, and crate-trained, and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. She's super smart & trainable - she already knows the basic cues like sit, stay, touch, bed, settle, and come. She even waits patiently to eat at mealtime until given the 'release' cue. She enjoys training sessions, and really likes playing pattern games. She's very playful and absolutely loves to play with other dogs at day care and playgroups at the Humane Society and Whispering Pines, where she's a staff favorite. Although we haven't tried it yet, she's a great candidate for agility training or doggie sports such as Flyball or Treibball. Pearl needs owners who have the energy to exercise her and keep her socialized and stimulated.
