About Ernie

Fern is about two years old. He is heart worm negative, up to date on vaccines and neutered. He is VERY docile, VERY SWEET, GENTLE and submissive. He is EXCELLENT with children, cats and prefers to be with other dogs. Ernie was confiscated with 50 other hounds from a neglectful owner. He is skinny but healthy! He has ZERO aggression, and he's terrified in the shelter. He curls up in a ball and doesn't move unless leashed to go outside. In the playground he hides behind the other dogs while they're playing with each other. HE MUST HAVE A DOG SIBLING in his new home. NO EXCEPTIONS! A dog brother/sister will help him know he's safe and loved. When we first pet him, he would shake uncontrollably, now he knows there are only kind touches, so he just looks up at us with those soulful eyes. He will play if he's comfortable...
