Meet Dozer! Breed: Pit Bull Age: 3 years old Gender: Neutered Male Dog Friendly? Yes! Said to be good with other dogs with careful and proper introduction. Challenges: Struggles with separation anxiety and some reactive anxiety to strangers. Background: Previously owned by an elderly woman but was a little too much for her to handle. Needs: An experienced owner who understands under-socialized dogs and Pit Bulls in general. Not suitable for a first-time or inexperienced dog owner. Training: Dozer has spent time with a professional trainer who says he is a great dog but needs an owner who truly understands the breed and his specific needs. He did well in training with other dogs and loved pretty much the whole training team! His trainer is also willing to continue working with whoever adopts him to set him up for success.
