Delilah is a sweet, fun, loving, and gentle, four-month-old, 29-pound, female chocolate and vanilla Terrier-mix with hazel eyes looking for a loving guardian. Delilah came from Texas with nine siblings. She was the only brown dog in her litter; everyone else was black, or black and white. She is good in the car, and well-mannered during a dog bath. She is just starting to learn to walk on leash which she's learned from her foster siblings. She is wonderful with other dogs. Delilah is crate-trained and doing well with her puppy housebreaking. She needs a dedicated person to continue to train and socialize her. She's not yet accustomed to city sounds since she grew up in rural Texas. Delilah is healthy, fecal tested and dewormed, spayed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Delilah, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet her by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com Her adoption fee of $300 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She comes with everything you need to care for her: food, leash, harness, bowls, collar, toys, etc. She is being fostered in Chicago.
