About Milo

Meet Milo! He is 9 months old and was the last of a litter of 7 puppies born to two of our family dogs, Wren (Border Collie) and Leo (Great Pyrenees and a little Australian Shepherd) last June. He is mostly white but has patches of cream, with one brown eye and one partially blue. He is a beautiful dog! We sold 4 of the litter early on and kept 3 of the boys - that turned out to be not such a great idea, as they have intense sibling rivalry. Milo is the least dominant of the three, being a more sensitive soul, so he has trended toward more anxiety, barking at his brothers and having a hard time settling down. He gets along well with our other dogs, but he may do best in a home with no other dogs or only one other older dog. He does great with people, including kids - he is a sweetie! He is a working dog through and through and loves to be outside - a fenced yard and/or frequent walks will be a must. If you are not in our immediate area, we are happy to meet up to an hour or so away for the family who will be a good fit. No rehoming fee for us, but we do ask you to donate to Rescue Me instead. We are sad to see Milo go but he is going to be the best boy for his new family! Please text or email if interested with some info about you and your home.
