About Deebo

Meet Deebo, an amazing 5 year-old border collie/lab mix who adores kids, snuggling with his people, and going for walks and adventures. This boy is a lover! Pick up a leash, he knows what's coming next, and he's READY. He is learning to sit and wait by the door while everyone gets ready to head out. You might see some butt wiggles as he waits. He walks well on leash and enjoys car rides, although he'd really like it if his foster mama would let him ride shotgun. Want to watch a movie? He has a great off switch and loves to chill and snuggle. This 64 lb sweetheart is ready to find his forever home. Deebo has lived with cats in his previous home, and has been known to snuggle with them. In his foster home, he's too exuberant and excited for the resident cats to want to share space with him, so slow introductions, and a very dog savvy cat who doesn't get stressed out consistently setting firm boundaries will be necessary for a smooth transition. We think he'd be happiest in a family where someone is around most of the time. He is being fostered with 4 kids, ages 7 and up, and has interacted beautifully with a 3 year old-visitor. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is being fostered in Portland, OR.
