About Cole

I'm Cole. I'm a male black Labrador Retriever approximately 4-years old. I was picked up off the streets in South Korea and treated for heartworm. I arrived in the U.S. in late January very skinny and uncertain about what was going on. I have filled out nicely and become quite a handsome dog according to what I've been told. I am approaching 70 pounds, which is the weight the vet thinks is good for me. Living in a house now suits me well. I'm also good at riding in a car and am okay being in a crate at home as well. My foster mom enjoys seeing me as a happy dog now. I am my foster mom's shadow and very affectionate, but still a little shy around others who I don't know well yet. My foster mom has taught me TOUCH so that I can start to feel more comfortable with them. Treats help a lot. I am not shy around little kids, but can be a little overwhelming to them, especially when they are running around. I'm an only dog in my foster home, but I'm a friendly, playful boy. I would do well in a home with other dogs or with dog buddies who want to play with me. ***** Adoption fee: $500 plus $35 microchip fee ***** Cole is being fostered in the Portland area.
