About Copper

Copper (formerly known as Cooper) is a young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix. At 17 pounds, he is just a tiny thing. We've learned some pretty heartbreaking information about this little boy and why he has so many missing teeth at such a young age. He was likely part of a puppy mill. The largest teeth were pulled out and the others were filed down, probably to keep the dogs from injuring each other in small cages. As sad as that is, you would never know the horrors he has seen from his sweet disposition. He is loving, cuddly, affectionate, and sweet as pie. He is a bit overly excited with cats and poultry, and would probably do best in a home without either. He likes most dogs. He also still has a great appetite, and his forced disability should not affect his quality of life. The tongue peeking out on occasion just adds to his charm. Born approx 2/27/2023. 2 yrs old.
